It’s Cheaper Than A Shrink

I was sad this day. The day started out right as I woke up early and started to do my online routines before waking up my son. After being on the computer for 10 minutes, the Internet connection was out. I called the 173 hot line and was really lucky that I was able to speak with someone. We talked for like, 30 minutes non stop and most of to the time I do the talking while he keeps on saying, with regards and as of date. I pity the poor guy on the other line. He said he knows how I feel. Maybe during the time that we were discussing about my concerns, I was really pissed off and mad. Some minutes after that call, I was depressed. I was really sad.

I feel for them. I feel for the guys or the girls on the other line. In general, I feel for all the people working in that industry. I called around 6 AM, imagine if I am his first call and he has to endure 8 more hours talking to costumers. That kind of job is emotionally and physically draining. Yeah, being like the official sponge bob of all the costumers. It’s like being a shrink to every costumer, the bad thing is, you are limited to say the word that can uplift or satisfy the costumer.

Now I understand, why, they would sang their heart’s out give n a microphone. That’s the only time where they can pour out their emotions. That’s the only time where they can let out their frustrations. I pity them.

So I guess for now, I won’t be calling them or even if I would, I would be nice and gentle…

Let Me talk To Your Supervisor!

An update from my last post..

So from where I am, yeah like two feet away from the hubby, my eardrums are about to explode. That's the problem with the hubby.. when he is stressing a point his vocal chords tend to go up with his point.. in simple term, he is like screaming or shouting. There was a time in our relationship when I was really pissed off with that stressing a point voice. I feel like he is shouting at me. Now after being with him for 9 years, I already accepted that fact about his stressing a point voice and have learned to live with it. Poor Christopher, he does not have a slight idea about the stressing a point voice of the hubby.

This is how their conversation went.. My husband is asking to speak to a supervisor to clarify some things which Christopher has no authority to do so. So this Christopher would put him on hold and smoke to release the tension this caller is giving him look for his supervisor. After 5 minutes or so, he would be back and says that his supervisor is not on the floor or something to that effect. The call went on and the cycle goes on. The hubby would request for someone and Christopher would smoke and keep him on hold for 5 minutes or so. That happened 3 times. How do I know? Well being his SEXYTARY secretary, I have to hold on to the a tender lie song. It means while he is on hold I have to hold (too much hold!!! argh!) the receiver and wait for Christopher to finish his cigg to come back with his nowhere to be found or super engaged supervisor. The call ended up with a promise from Christopher that he would have his supervisor call my hubby.. I doubt if somebody called my hubby by now..

So how was the connection today?

It was ok until late in the afternoon. Just when I was drafting (in my head) a praise post for them the connection says buh bye!Uh oh, so how was the praise post? er, still on my head.. but it won't land in here as long as my connection stinks like shit.

5:30 no connection

About 5 minutes to 6 PM, my connection was back..

OK now at this time I have to hurry whatever I am doing online, I promised the kids, I would let them use the computer when the clock strikes 7...

6:20 no connection again

Connection was back after 15 minutes..

Just when I hit the spelling check button, the connection died out on me.. arghh!!!! (that's 5 minutes to 7PM)

The connection was back after 20 minutes, good thing the kids gave a me another thirty minutes.. uh oh, 15 minutes more and I'm outta here...

Sometimes, SHORTLY means just 5 Minutes

Update! Update!

after publishing my post, while my other ear is on hold, and after 5 minutes of listening to Restless Heart (now I am beginning to be restless too), a certain Christopher finally picks up the phone! wohoo!

I give this call to my hubby, I promised him that, er, I asked him to take the call. he is the veterans of all veterans when it comes to dealing with stupid and incompetent representative.

And as of typing, I can hear his voice and uh oh.. Christopher has a lot of explaining to do..

To start with, this Christopher is so stupid he can't figure out, how my husband is related to the person where the account is named.. which is actually him.. lol

OK now, I can hear him saying can I talk to your manager now?

This is gonna be exciting..will report back tomorrow!

How short is SHORTLY?

This day was no different like yesterday. Busied my self with house hold chores. This day being a special day for Dads, I have to cook a special meal for the guy.

According to the hubby, the connection was OK during the morning but got worse after lunch.

9:30.. I have an opportunity for my paid post site so I need to use the pc. No connection.

I called their hell lines aka hot lies aka 171

And so after 20 minutes of dialing, re dialing, waiting and listening to their lovely tender lies and hearing the soft voice:

Thank you for calling. The next available representative will assist you shortly..

I decided to wait for that shortly, she promised..

And while I was waiting, I remembered, Joan told me yesterday that she would request a call from them to me regarding my concerns. A call will made within 24 hours.. checking on my post yesterday.. the 24 hour deadline is up and still no call from them..

Now do I have the right to scream on top of my lungs that the
GLOBELINES COSTUMER CARE does NOT EVEN CARE AT ALL and that IT SUCKS!!!!!!

Is this what we are paying for? aside from a POOR CONNECTION it comes with a package too! THE POOREST COSTUMER SUPPORT. Now that is what you call a bundle.

It's taking them so loong.. now it is very CLEAR to me that when they say SHORLTY it means more than 10 minutes..

I have to say kuddos to Restless Heart for singing non stop.. he should be restless now, Globelines is exploting him!

A Tender Lie

This is the song you hear when they keep you on hold. Yes, the title is A Tender Lie..and here is the lyrics:

As you walk away,
As we say goodbye.
What I wouldn't give,
For a tender lie.
Say you'll never stop loving me,
Just as if it were true.
How much more damage now, unto me,
Could one tender lie do?

When we fall so far,
Are we wrong to try?
To fight off the truth,
With a tender lie?
Say you're gonna come back to me,
And I'll believe that it's true,
How much more damage now, unto me,
Could one tender lie do?

Instrumental break.

When we loved before,
Do you still deny,
Keeping out the truth,
With a tender lie?
Say you'll never stop loving me,
Just as if it were true.
How much more damage now, unto me,
Could one tender lie do?

How much more damage now, unto me,
Could one tender lie do

They Only Have 2 Technical Support?!?

I did not go online most of the day so I don't have data on our intermittent connection..

Earlier, around 10, my hubby was using the Internet when it went out on him. Knowing how impatient he can be, i volunteered on calling their hot line which is 173. I called and tried and tried but gave up after 15 minutes and no luck. After 5 minutes, my patience was back and I tried calling 173 again. Tried waiting for another 15 minutes and again, I gave up.

Around 11, as I was cooking our lunch, I tried calling again in between sauteing and frying.. which brought me no luck.

After lunch we went on with our siesta and woke at 4:30 and started doing my online stuffs. About 5 in the afternoon, there was no connection. I did not bother calling them because I was busy doing the laundry. Finished the kid's uniform at 6 and was really frustrated that there was still no connection. I called but after only 5 minutes, the connection was back. It went off and on for a while but it was stabled for an hour or so.

Dinner time.

Fifteen minutes to 10 PM, I checked on my favorite paid to post site for an available opportunity. After logging in, the connection was out. Angry and frustrated, I called 173 again.. my impatience is really growing on me, making a hulk out of me.. waah.. I knew it! Dr Bruce Banner green image does not come from the gamma exposures! It came from subscribing to Globelines broadband connection.. waaah!

Keep in mind that during this time, there was no Internet connection.

And so, after waiting, I decided to call their other hotline number which is 171.. in their menu, there is a number to press if you have other concerns, and that number is 9. I pressed that number because my other concern is to ask them how many their technical support representative are. Poor Aiza (the one who took my call), had the chance to hear my rants.. Anyway, according to her she cannot give that data since that is another department. So I just ask her if there is way she can know the status of recent reports. She puts me on hold, while this song plays, and came back with a report. To make the story short, the best solution she offered was to request the other department (or the 2 man department) to call me, within 24 hours, I hope.

After 20 Minutes..

And today, I tried calling around 6 PM for an update as I promised them I will be calling everyday..

After 20 minutes on the phone, I give up.. it's not just their Internet connection that sucks, their costumer support is not supportive at all.

I don't have much to say regarding the intermittent connection since earlier (morning time) the connection was good. Around 1 Pm, it was hellish and I decided to just take a nap.

After trying to call them for 20 minutes, we went out and bought our dinner.. Around 7 ate our dinner and went upstairs. I was again on the computer around 9 and there was no connection..

I tried calling again.. for about 30 minutes but no luck. I have been getting the "Thank you for calling. The next available representative will assist you shortly.. message.. I tried waiting for the next available representative, but it seems their shortly means more than 10 minutes..

And so when I am just about to burst in anger and frustrations, the connection was back.. yep, only after 30 minutes.
